One of the NSPD Detectives at New Splooge City, Detective Sydney Castella is renowned for her ability to crack cases with incredible speeds and accuracy. Lately she has been butting heads with the chief of police due to her skepticism of… well, him being sus. Well, she was recently tasked with investigating less serious cases outside of New Splooge City. To Sydney, she saw this as much needed time away from him, but over time realizes that something bigger must be at play. Oh, and she also actively tries to prevent the GHS from conducting their ghost hunts because a lot of these hunts are within crime scenes. 👀

Sydney grew up in a small town full of corruption and nepotism. Because of this, she was robbed of a normal childhood and had to “act her age” (which meant acting more grown up than even her parents) otherwise their family would get into a world of unreasonable trouble. Despite how backwards this town was, she wanted to save it by becoming a police officer when she grew up. This soon made her realize that this town was beyond saving, hardening her emotions while maintaining her sense of justice.
